This Holiday season, the Courthouse Square features new, energy efficient solar lighting. In addition to the Christmas lights that adorn the Courthouse each year, you may have noticed something new solar-powered lights wrapping each lamppost on the Square. The new solar-powered lights are provided by Chuck Boggs, CEO and president of Pulaski’s ACE, LLC SOLAR, whose love for Pulaski and the community prompted his donation. According to Boggs, the solar-powered lights will stay up until Jan. 8, 2017.

The City Hall of Pulaski was able to kill the proverbial two birds with one....awning? Located on the south side of Pulaski City Hall is a new solar awning that has helped the city solve one problem and save some money in the process. According to ACE, LLC SOLAR CEO Chuck Boggs, in the past city hall had an issue of getting too hot due to the inflow of sunlight through the south windows.

The 1 acre project is in Elkmont, north of Athens. The solar panels hold enough energy to power 50 homes a day. Once complete, the park will be the first commercial solar panel area in the county. All of its generated electricity will be sent to the Tennessee Valley Authority power grid. It'll then be sold to Athens Utilities. "It's a 199.9 KW solar system," explains Ace LLC Solar CEO, Chuck Boggs.

A solar panel park large enough to power 50 homes a day is being built in Elkmont by a private company that will sell the electricity generated at the site to TVA. PJ Kraft Enterprises LLC, a Baton Rouge, Louisiana, company that invests in renewable energy projects, is developing the $690,000 solar energy-producing system on nearly an acre at Sandlin and Hayes Mill roads, said Steven Pitts, a spokesman for contractor ACE LLC Solar.

December, 2015, An acre of land at the intersection of Hays Mill and Sandlin Roads will soon be home to a solar panel array as the city of Athens and the Tennessee Valley Authority partner with a local solar power firm to bring alternative energy to portions of the city of Athens. An official with ACE Solar LLC, based out of Pulaski, Tennessee, announced the project Friday. The solar installation is only large enough to power about 50 homes, according to Steven Pitts, a spokesman for ACE Solar, but will be the starting point for utilities providers to offer cheaper energy to residents.

The Tennessee Career Center of Lawrence County hosted the Jobs4TN Hiring Event in Lawrenceburg, TN that was sponsored by Representative Barry Doss. The event was held on Thursday, June 26, 2014 at Rotary Park Gym #3 located at 927 North Military Avenue. A variety of job opportunities with all levels of skill requirements were available at this event. More than 11 employers participated including Magneti Marelli, Maury County Public Schools, BMC Metalworks, LLC, Global Manufacturing, Graphic Packaging International Corp, Sharp Transport, ACE, LLC Solar, and the Columbia Police Department.

ACE, LLC SOLAR completed a 7.2kW solar system installation in May 2014 for the Roberts family in Elkton, Tennessee. The Roberts 7.2kW solar system installation was a TVA Green Power Providers Participation Partner project with the Pulaski Electric System that allocated various kW allotments to residential or business installations that qualified for the program. PES worked with ACE, LLC SOLAR to assure that the system was tied into their electric grid according to TVA specifications.

ACE, LLC SOLAR completed a 7.2kW solar system installation in April 2014 for Gaylon Drake, CPA, in Cullman, Alabama. The Drake 7.2kW solar system installation project was installed at the business location of Gaylon Drake, CPA. It is a ground mount structure that was built to also allow for parking beneath the solar system, which could also be described as a parking area solar array (PASA). The system is a parallel / behind the meter installation.

A ribbon cutting ceremony was held at the IFP facility in Madison, AL on 12 February, 2013 to celebrate their new 50 kW solar system. The solar arrays were installed by ACE, LLC Solar, who partnered with Redstone Energy Group in the endeavor.
